When is ZINCON? In 2022 ZINCON will be held from August 10-14 at the Orlando Convention Center. I have already reserved our hotel room at the Hyatt Regency, where we stay each year. It's right AT the convention which makes it convenient for attending sessions, and then a quick run back to the hotel room to rest and/or freshen up for the next session. Flights are already purchased too! We arrive in the morning of the 9th which will allow us plenty of time to check in and make our traditional trip to Publix to stock up on food for the week. We can generally spend $100 total and have enough meals to cover us for our entire stay, except for our one "date night" at the B-Line Diner at the Hyatt Regency and our last meals at the airport hotel. The convention closing ceremony is on Sunday and afterwards we transfer to the Hyatt at the Orlando Airport for our last night. Makes it very convenient to run down to the terminal to eat dinner, shop or just walk around.  The next mornin...

What is the Zumba Convention? ZINCON (the event’s short name) is a multi-day event that Zumba  organizes. The event features a variety of sessions: from flavor sessions to all-day trainings. There are also special events like the Fitness Concert and Theme Party.  ZINCON is our happy place. It’s where instructors unite to learn, grow, and have some freakin’ FUN! In 2022, there will be 5 incredible days of sessions, parties, concerts, and more. We create memories of a lifetime as we grow into the best instructor possible. I'm so excited and I JUST CAN’T HIDE IT! The ultimate family reunion is coming… Orlando here I come! I have been attending ZINCON annually since 2016, except for 2019 and 2020 when it was not being held due to the pandemic. I have been having major convention withdrawals! This is the Superbowl for Zumba instructors believe it or not. I attend each year with my Zumba Bestie Anna M. from Boston, who is a fellow instructor.
